As a former journalist, Jennifer is passionate about helping people find their voice and take control of their story. She uses a strengths-based approach rooted in Narrative and Solutions Focused therapies. This approach helps clients examine the roles and scripts people sometimes get stuck in and works with them to effect change by creating a new, self-driven, positive narrative for the future. She believes people are always growing and changing throughout their lifespan and it’s never too late to work on yourself.
Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in English from DePaul University and is earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University with an emphasis on grief and anxiety issues. Her clinical focus includes, but is not limited to, women’s wellness issues such as work/life balance, career transitions, anxiety, family stress, fertility struggles and pregnancy loss. As a mother of three, she knows firsthand the struggle is real but taking the time to work on yourself is crucial.
