Primary Counselor
Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She has a bachelor’s degree in English from DePaul University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. Jennifer works with a wide population of clients including emerging adults and student athletes. Her clinical focus includes, but is not limited to, anxiety and depression as well as issues such as work/life balance, career transitions and relationship stress.
As a former journalist, Jennifer is passionate about helping people find their voice and take control of their story. She uses a strengths-based approach rooted in Narrative and Solutions Focused therapies. This approach helps clients examine the roles and scripts people sometimes get stuck in and works with them to effect change by creating a new, self-driven, positive narrative for the future. She believes people are always growing and changing throughout their lifespan and it’s never too late to work on yourself.
