Primary Counselor

Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach that is relational, trauma-informed, and client-centered.

Jessica is passionate about working with survivors of trauma, loss, and abuse. She strives to build a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship with each of her clients. With this approach, they can heal from traumatic wounds, build self-awareness and self-compassion, and move forward with resilience and hope.

Jessica also specializes in supporting clients who identify as LGBTQIA+ and is committed to gender-affirming practice and sex-positivity. Jessica utilizes a feminist and anti-oppressive model of counseling, and above all, she approaches every single client with acceptance and respect.

“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.” (Shannon L. Alder)
