After a fulltime career in financial services and non-profit development work,
Michael is pursuing his passion for helping people step away from addictions,
compulsive behaviors and beliefs about themselves that prevent them
from living joyful lives.

With a wealth of experience leading therapeutic groups and providing one-on-one
support, Michael is a Masters in Human Services Counseling candidate at National-
Louis University and an intern under the supervision of Millennium Counseling
Center's Clinical Director, Jenny Scanlon, MEd, LCPC, EMDR Certified.
He is working toward LPC licensure as well as certifications in drug, alcohol
and sex addiction therapy.

Michael brings authenticity, trust and insight to his clients. He believes that
as they reframe past experiences and take healthy risks toward growth
and change, they will discover a new excitement and hope for the future.
